UT Ukulele
The ukulele became popular for stateside audiences.
During the first Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915, the Hawaiian Pavilion featured a guitar and ukulele ensemble, with George E. K. Awai's Royal Hawaiian Quartette performing with ukulele maker and player Jonah Kumalae. The ensemble introduced the ukulele to the United States. The ukulele has become a musical product of the same age as jazz.
Because of its high portability and relatively low price, it sparked a craze throughout the 1920s. Among ukulele manufacturers, Martin added a line of luxurious and harmonious ukuleles, banjoleles, and tiples to take advantage of the demand.
There is a saying among the people that this is an instrument suitable for adults and children, and it is cute and can stimulate the potential of rhythm. As long as it is in your hands, there is no song you can't play.
